The Classic of Mountains and Seas is a Chinese mythological geography embodying strange tales and collections of rare and exotic things. Because of all the fascinating tales and strange legends it contains, it has been a classic of study in Chinese cultural circles for a very long time, with many re-edit versions. Today, after thousands of years, we are rethinking how to reconnect the classics with modern lives, and how ancient mythology can be reinterpreted in the present day. So we decided to re-edited The Classic of Mountains and Seas with a new title "!!!! Help Me, Monsters!!!! The Classic of Mountains and Seas - Necessary Monsters for College Students" from the perspective of an art college student, asking for help from the monsters with magical powers. We chose 32 monsters for college students. The content includes the original text and also an English translation, hoping to recommend "The Classic of Mountains and Seas" to readers from different cultural circles in a more relaxing and interesting version.
